I been a professional automata maker for 25 years at first working for Cabaret Mechanical Theatre in Covent Garden, London, My work is in many private collections and museums around the world.
For the last 25 years I have been living and creating in Cornwall, making one of a kind pieces and commissioned automata.
No two works are the same as each one is uniquely hand carved and painted.
Some of my work is now available on Etsy or this website and I am happy to discuss commissions for coin operated automatons for institutions or if you’ve a special person or position in mind. Instagram @carloszapataautomata
